Yarn Bomb At Arkansas Arts Center

A large group of volunteers worked this week to wrap the entire front entrance, surrounding trees and fountain in colorful displays of knitted pieces of yarn.

LITTLE ROCK, AR- It's quite the sight, the Arkansas Arts Center decked out in colorful strings of yarn.

The 1,200 sq. ft. display took weeks to put together.

The outline for the display was kept secret for a while so it could be spontaneous.

UALR art student Chelsye Garrett helped organize the event.

It's being called one of the biggest yarn bombings in the nation.

You can check out the yarn bombing at Fountainfest Thursday.

Enjoy live music and  barbecue along with the exhibit.
