LITTLE ROCK, AR -- For today’s WBW we’re taking you back to the year 1901 and the founding of the Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, AR. This beautiful cemetery on the outskirts of Harrison is home to more than 733 Sugar Maple trees that explode in an array of vivid colors every autumn. By nature, Sugar Maples turn many different colors with their own individual personalities which mean they turn the same color every year. From deep reds to vibrant oranges and bright yellows the sugar maples at Maplewood make this a great place for walking, driving, and pictures. Tour buses actually drive through Maplewood during the fall. This year to colors are at their peak THIS week so you must make a trip to Harrison- you will not be disappointed.
