LITTLE ROCK, AR- Continuing to have issues with their VA Department, one veteran took to the capitol Saturday morning.
Vincent Rivera says his struggle with Veteran Affairs started long before the shut down.
The Vietnam veteran who served two tours is now wheelchair bound.
Even though he's unable to work, he says the VA won't give him full compensation.
Rivera says, "they need to process our claims we earned it. We're not asking for charity not handouts all we want is to get
that's just and fair"
Rivera isn't the only veteran who has this concern, multiple veterans we spoke to say they've been waiting years to get their disability situation straightened out.
