LITTLE ROCK, AR -- 'Tis the season for packages to crisscross the globe for Christmas. It's also the time of year thieves make off with boxes left on the doorsteps.
In Little Rock, some neighbors had been expecting some boxes packed with Christmas gifts.
Their postman alerted them that he found the boxes down the street but nothing inside of them.
Shipping store owners recommend you track your package's every move and require a signature before the recipient gets the delivery.
That's one way to guarantee an arrival, even though it costs more.
"There's somebody waiting at the other end for this package, and you have put a lot of heart into getting this gift together," Jay Sanati of Wrap Right Packaging said.
Shipping store owners suggest you purchase insurance as well.
