LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Testing will require a lane closure on Interstate 40 in Pulaski County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be taking samples from Interstate 40 in preparation of its widening and modifications to the Interstate 40/430 Interchange. Bids for this project are scheduled for summer 2014.

The preparation work will require closing the Interstate 40 westbound outside lane extending from Highway 365 at Morgan to just east of the Interstate 40/430 Interchange.

The lane will be closed Monday, November 18th between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
