State Opens 2014 Scholarship Application Process

The deadline to apply is June 1.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - If you're headed to college but still need some help paying for it, the State of Arkansas might be able to help.

The Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) has begun the 2014 scholarship process.

The ADHE says there are more than 20 different scholarships to apply for, including the popular Arkansas Academic Challenge or the Lottery Scholarship.

ADHE Director Shane Broadway says it's important to support Arkansas students, so they will return the favor.

"It's important to keep our students here, not just the best and brightest but all students to keep them here at home back in their local communities, creating jobs starting small businesses," he says.

There are NO paper applications. You MUST go online to apply. The deadline is June 1.
