Sen. Mark Pryor Launches TV Ad in Response to Tom Cotton

Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor is fighting back against accusations from his opponent that he favors a special exemption for himself from the new health care law.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor is fighting back against accusations from his opponent that he favors a special exemption for himself from the new health care law.

An ad from Rep. Tom Cotton released Monday claims Pryor favors special subsidies for members of congress. It's an accusation Pryor calls blatantly false, while leveling an attack of his own.

Desktop users can see Sen. Pryor's ad by watching the embedded video, mobile users can find it in the "Video" section of the KARK 4 News app.

In response to the ad, a Cotton campaign spokesperson told KARK:

"It is stunning that Mark Pryor still believes that Obamacare is good policy and that he and other Senators deserve a special subsidy that taxpayers buying insurance as individuals don't get. The facts are clear that Pryor cast the deciding vote for Obamacare, he is still voting to keep his special personal Senatorial subsidy, and he refuses even a reasonable 1-year delay in a program that is not working."
