RAW VIDEO: Saline County Sheriff Pleads Guilty to Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest

Bruce Pennington signs himself up for in-patient treatment.
BENTON, AR - The sheriff of Saline County has pleaded guilty to public intoxication and resisting arrest.

It happened in a Saline County courtroom this afternoon as Sheriff Bruce Pennington appeared to answer charges from his June arrest.

We're also told that Pennington signed himself up for in-patient treatment.

Special Prosecutor for the case Cody Hiland says accountability needed to be held for the sheriff having taken a drunken swing at a city police officer during the incident that led to his arrest.

Tonight at 5 on KARK 4 News, we'll show the surveillance video of Sheriff Pennington from that night.
