Police: Woman Caught Dealing Drugs with Minors in Car

BPD says a 9-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were in the car at the time, and were taken to the Bryant Police Department where they were picked up by their mother.
BRYANT, AR -- A woman is behind bars after police say she conducted a drug deal in a parking lot while two minors were in her car.

According to the Bryant Police Department (BPD), narcotics officers and criminal investigators received a tip about a drug deal that was to transpire in the Lowe's parking lot.

While investigating the tip, police say a car matching the description they were given pulled into the parking lot and completed a transaction.

Officers then moved in and arrested 36-year-old Brittany Burns, of North Little Rock.

BPD says a 9-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were in the car with Burns at the time, and were taken to the Bryant Police Department where they were picked up by their mother.

Burns was taken to the Saline County Jail, where she has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, three counts of theft by receiving and one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
