Pine Bluff Man Dies After Fight, Police Investigating

23-year-old Antonio Jenkins was pronounced dead shortly before noon, hours after being brought home after family members say he got into a fight at a party.

PINE BLUFF, AR -- A 23-year-old man has died after family members say he got in a fight at a party in Pine Bluff.

The exact cause of Antonio Jenkins' death has not been determined.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning, Pine Bluff police were called to a report of a man down at a home in the 2800 block of South Florida.

The Jefferson County Coroner pronounced Jenkins dead just before noon.

Investigators say Jenkins was at a party at 4th and Chestnut early Sunday morning.

Witnesses say he was involved in an fight and was taken home by family members. 

Mr. Jenkins was last seen asleep and snoring on the couch. 

The family tried to wake up Mr. Jenkins, but he was unresponsive.

The investigation is continuing.
