Phone Calls from Coworkers, Acquaintances Help LRPD Identify Bank Robberies Suspect

Stephen Frazer went to the Major Crimes Division with his attorney and surrendered to police.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Numerous phone calls to police helped detectives identify a suspect in Wednesday's bank robberies.

The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) responded to a robbery call at Summit Bank on North Rodney Parham at 10:41 Wednesday morning, then to another just 44 minutes later. In both instances, witnesses told police the suspect went to the teller window with a note and implied that he had a gun in his pocket.

After releasing photos of the suspect, acquaintances and coworkers called detectives telling them the suspect was Stephen Frazer, of Maumelle, who later went to the LRPD Major Crimes Division with his attorney and surrendered.

Frazer was booked into the Pulaski County Jail shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday, where he was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of theft of property.
