PCSSD to Share Annual Report in Public Meeting

District leaders say report is typically presented in a board meeting.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Pulaski County Special School District will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the board room of the district’s central office to share its Annual Report to the Public.

The report, required by The Arkansas State Board of Education, is presented to the public and then shared in a general circulation newspaper by Nov. 15 of each school year.

Deborah Roush, the district’s executive director of communications, said the report is typically presented in a meeting of the board of education, but because no board is meeting due to the district being placed in fiscal distress and under state control, this meeting will be held independently.

“We will also provide an opportunity for those in the public who want to comment on issues related to our Annual Report to the Public to do so,” Roush said in a news release.

The district’s central office is located at 925 E. Dixon Road in Little Rock.
