Parolee Arrested in Benton Home Break-in

Brad Gonzales, 33, was picked up by officers looking for a suspect seen running from unoccupied home on E. Walnut St.
BENTON, AR - A police investigation sends a parolee back to jail.

On Monday morning, around 9:30, officers with the Benton Police Department were called to E. Walnut St. on a report of a suspect seen running from an unoccupied home. When officers arrived in the area, they saw Brad Gonzales, 33, run from a home near railroad tracks.  

Officers soon caught up with Gonzales, placed him under arrest and took him to the Saline County Detention Facility. He is charged with Criminal Trespassing and Residential Burglary. 

Police say Gonzales is an active parolee with the Department of Community Corrections and had an active parole warrant at the time of his arrest.
