NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are searching for a man who was armed with a machete when he tried to rob a pharmacy last week but was stopped when the owner pulled out a gun.

Photos of the suspect and an alleged accomplice were released in a police bulletin today.

The man is believed to be about 20 years old.

The robbery attempt happened last Friday afternoon at the Medicine Shoppe, 3836 JFK Blvd.

Police say when the man raised the machete, the shop owner pulled a .45 Glock pistol and the suspect took off.

The suspect is believed to have had a lookout described as a heavy set white man who was wearing a large loose black t-shirt and baggy black Dickies style shorts, along with knee high white socks (see pic).

After the robbery was foiled, police say the suspect ran behind the business onto East H Street.
