Update: Reward Grows to $11,000 for Information in NLR Woman's Murder

Samantha Olson died on August 14 while driving near JFK & McCain.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - A reward for information that leads to an arrest in an August 14 murder has climbed to $11,000.

Police say a private donation of $5,000 has been received since a reward in the Samantha Olson case was announced on Wednesday.

Original story (August 21):
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - One week after a woman was gunned down as she drove down the street, a $6,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

The City of North Little Rock and the North Little Rock Police Department are putting up $5,000 of the amount, while the other $1,000 comes from Crime Stoppers.

Samantha Olson, 31, was shot to death August 14 near JFK & McCain when someone inside a truck passing her car in the opposite direction opened fire.

Olson was laid to rest in funeral services on Monday.

To assist her family, the Samantha Olson Memorial Fund has been set up at Arvest Bank.
