LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Texting gets a bad rap for impairing our ability to have a face to face conversation and making relationships more impersonal. A new study reveals texting may actually help tighten the family bond! Researchers at the University of Nebraska interviewed 150 people about their texting practices. 60-percent said they rarely lie in a text and 80-percent said they were more likely to express their feelings honestly through text than in person. Over half of the women said they believe texting helps connect and enhance relationships with their families. Most participants said they answer a relatives text within five minutes --- and text mom most often ... to convey information.
