National Touring Company of WICKED Hosts Little Rock Special Event

“WICKED AFTER DARK,” on October 3, is an evening benefiting BROADWAY CARES/Equity Fights AIDS, and the Arkansas AIDS Foundation.
LITTLE ROCK, AR (News release) - Arkansas AIDS Foundation and Members of the National Touring Company of WICKED will host “WICKED AFTER DARK,” an evening of song and dance, at CLUB SWAY on Thursday, October 3rd. The performance will begin at 11 p.m. CLUB SWAY is located at 412 S. Louisiana St. in Little Rock. Net proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Arkansas AIDS Foundation.

Produced by WICKED company members, the evening is an opportunity for them to step out of their roles in the musical and kick up their heels performing some of their favorite non-Ozian material.

VIP admission is a $50 donation, which includes preferred seating. General admission is available for $20. All proceeds benefit BC/EFA and Arkansas AIDS Foundation. Admission donations are tax deductible. Tickets are available at the door. For ticket reservations please call (501) 376-6299.

This Thursday night event will include LIVE auctions featuring opportunities to join the company backstage at the Robinson Center Music Hall. Proceeds benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) and Arkansas AIDS Foundation.

Live Auction items include:
-Watch the “Greening of Elphaba”, backstage tour, plus 2 house seats for a performance of WICKED between October 4th & 6th. 
-Ride in Glinda's bubble (This bubble is the same bubble that Kristin Chenoweth used during the 2004 Tony Awards) and a backstage tour of WICKED between October 4th & 6th.
-Walk-On Role in an actual performance of WICKED, backstage tour, costume fitting, plus 2 house seats for friends and family to come see you in WICKED! Between October 4th & 6th.

WICKED AFTER DARK is part of an ongoing series of performances by the touring company to support charitable causes which advance WICKED’s theme of acceptance and illuminate the musical’s message that people should not be judged on first impressions. In its seven years on the road, the company has raised over $2 million in donations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and local AIDS service organizations all over the country. Produced by company members, the evening is an opportunity for them to step out of their roles in the musical and kick up their heels performing some of their favorite non-Ozian material.

WICKED will return to the Robinson Center Music Hall for a limited two week engagement September 25th – October 6th. The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday Evenings at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday Evenings at 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m.

There is also a special Matinee performance on Thursday, September 26th at 2:00pm. Prices start at $43.00.
