BRANSON, MO (KOLR) - Damage is reported to be minor in a Tuesday night fire at the Silver Dollar City (SDC) theme park.

Fire crews were called to the park about 11:00.

Park officials say the blaze broke through an exterior wall outside the waiting line area of the Outlaw Run roller coaster ride.

Southern Stone County fire crews got to the park within 8 minutes of the call and quickly put out the fire.

SDC officials say the coaster ride was not damaged and ride operations will not be affected. The area damaged by the fire measures about 10 feet by 10 feet, said park spokesperson Lisa Rau.

No one was hurt. Fire investigators did not immediately determine the cause.

Silver Dollar City officials say the park will open as scheduled Thursday at 1 p.m.
