McDaniel Rejects Ballot Title Proposal to Limit Corporate Spending in Elections

This is the second time the ballot proposal, submitted by co-chair of Regnat Populus Ballot Question committee, has been rejected.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A ballot title proposal to limit corporate spending to influence elections in Arkansas has been rejected.

Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel issued the opinion Wednesday afternoon, citing ambiguities and deficiencies in the ballot title and text of the proposal, saying he has not been provided with a full and complete summary of the proposal.

This is the second time the ballot proposal, submitted by co-chair of Regnat Populus Ballot Question committee, has been rejected.
