Man Accused in Little Rock Murder Surrenders to Police

Rodterius Gardner, 20, faces 1st degree murder charge in Jan. 13 shooting death of Jermaine Humphrey, 24.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A local man named as a suspect in a Monday night shooting death has turned himself in to police.

Rodterius Gardner, 20, surrendered around 3:30 this afternoon and was taken into custody.

He will be charged with 1st degree murder in the killing of Jermaine Humphrey, 24.

Earlier this week, police said Humphrey died after an argument ended in gunfire outside a home on W. 31st St. near the intersection with Cross St. Humphrey suffered a wound to the head, according to the incident report.

He and a suspect had been inside the house and then ran into the street, the report also stated.

Witnesses told police the victim had been at the scene to resolve an issue over a woman.
