Malvern Manufacturing Co. to Expand, Add 50 Jobs

Prime-Line says they will invest more than $6.7 million in the new facility while creating 50 new jobs.
MALVERN, AR -- An Arkansas-based manufacturing company has announced plans to expand its operations by building a new facility in Malvern.

Governor Mike Beebe and other state leaders joined Prime-Line, Inc. officials as they made the announcement Friday morning.

Prime-Line says they will invest more than $6.7 million in the new facility while creating 50 new jobs.

"We're actually building our plant next to our main supplier, so we're going to be really loading and unloading material in our backyard. It's going to save us a lot of money," Prime-Line CEO Brian Feeney says.

Feeney said for the last year and a half they've been turning away business, but the expansion will allow them to serve more customers.

“Prime-Line is an Arkansas, and an American, success story,” Governor Mike Beebe said in a news release. “With once just a handful of workers, Prime-Line will now employ nearly 100 people in Malvern, all through the manufacturing of a 'Made in the U.S.A.' product that has remained popular among American retailers.”
