LRSD Hosts Open House for Prosepective Students

Principals welcome the guests so they can market their school.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Parents wanting to register their child in a Little Rock school for the 2014-2015 year have a chance to get an up close look into the classrooms.

A program called "Come Check us Out," is being held between 9-1:30, and allows parents to visit the district's pre-k, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high schools to get a feel for what goes on when the bell rings.

Principals welcome the guests so they can market their school.

"We do tours throughout the year, but it's awesome for you to come to our school, and you look in to see what actually goes on in our classrooms," Williams Magnet Elementary Principal Lori Brown says.

These high schools will also be on display during the following evening hours:
  • Tuesday at 6 p.m. - Parkview Magnet High is open.
  • Wednesday at 7 p.m. - Hall and McClellan High Schools.
  • Thursday at 7 p.m. Little Rock Central and J.A. Fair High Schools.
