LR Airport Releases Passenger Satisfaction Survey Results

Results come after Travel & Leisure magazine ranked the airport as worst in the country last month.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport has released results of their latest customer satisfaction survey after being ranked by Travel & Leisure magazine as the worst in the country.

The magazine noted travelers' gripes about security, long wait lines as well as few restaurants and stores.

Airport officials report an overall satisfaction rating above 80 percent, noting the areas that need improvement as the overall condition and cleanliness of the airport, the security checkpoint and "signs and directions to the baggage claim area."

Although more than 80 percent of those surveyed said they were satisfied overall, results in other categories weren't as strong for airport officials.

Just 54 percent of passengers were "very satisfied" with the airport's security checkpoint, with an overall satisfaction rate at 76 percent.

Also, food and beverage along with retail consistently received the lowest marks among passengers with overall satisfaction rates coming in at 64 percent and 55 percent, respectively.
