Land Donation Provides Proper Resting Place for Ark. Veterans

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The National Cemetery is a unique place for Northwest Arkansas that is dear to the hearts of our veterans.

Several supporters and veterans' families donated more than two acres of land to the Regional National Cemetery Improvement Corporation (RNCIC), who says the cemetery is running out of room to bury veterans as Fayetteville develops.

Wesley Stites with RNCIC believes they still have a long way to go.

"I'm really proud of our community, but there's still a big job ahead of us," Stites says. "We have a lot of work to do to keep this place open and to raise a lot of money."
