Searcy Police Searching for Vehicle After Friday Shooting

The incident happened in the parking lot of the JCPenney store.

SEARCY, AR -- Police are looking for three people after a shooting.

The victim in the Friday night incident has been identified as Shane Looney, 40.

Authorities say Looney made it through surgery and is currently in recovery. 

A description of the possible vehicle used in the shooting has been released.

Police are looking for a Dodge Challenger with a gray stripe. The vehicle has "392 Hemi" on both back fenders. It possibly has Florida license plate 433 VCE.

Searcy detectives would like to talk to anyone with any information about this vehicle or its owner.

At 7 p.m. Friday, the Searcy Police Department responded to the JCPenney parking lot where the incident happened. 

Officers were told that Looney had been shot while trying to sell a ring that had been listed on Craigslist.

The victim reportedly made arrangements to meet the suspects in the parking lot. 

Sometime after meeting the suspects, the victim was shot in the stomach. 

The victim underwent surgery Friday night. 

The only suspect descriptions at this time are two black males and one black female that drove away in a black car.
