Judge Orders Bank to Return Truck to Alexander Fire Dept.

The attorney for a Central Arkansas town is threatening legal action if a fire truck is not returned immediately.
ALEXANDER, AR -- The attorney for a Central Arkansas town is threatening legal action if a fire truck is not returned immediately.

Last week, a Pulaski County Judge ordered the truck be returned to the Alexander Fire Department in the same condition in which it was taken, when it was repossessed in Oct. amid a battle over a bank loan.

Officials tell ArkansasMatters.com that representatives for the bank are not willing to return the truck.

Alexander still owes $6,700 on the truck, but the city is said to be current on its payments.
