Jason Snavely joined us as weekend anchor/reporter in November 2010. He came to Arkansas from Grand Junction, Colorado, where he had been the weekend sports anchor/reporter.

In 2012, Jason began anchoring Arkansas Sports Nation, airing weeknights at 10:00 p.m. on KARZ.

Jason graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University where he was the Sports Anchor for ASU's award-winning news program Cronkite Newswatch.

While at ASU, he also interned at Channel 3 and CBS 5 in Phoenix, and played second base for Arizona State's Club baseball team.

Originally from the small town of Grass Valley in the beautiful hills of Northern California, Jason loves playing all kinds of sports including baseball, football, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, golfing, and pretty much all things outdoors! Jason is a DIE-HARD fan of the San Francisco Giants, the 2010 World Series Champions!
