LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Central Arkansans will be raising money for high school athletes so they can receive something they've earned: a letterman's jacket.

The 16th annual "Jammin' for Jackets" basketball tournament is just a couple of days away, and on Tuesday, sponsors and players were on hand at Hall High School to unveil the brackets.

Admission for the invitational helps buy letterman jackets for student athletes in all sports in the Little Rock School District.

Not only will there some great competition, this tournament is really all about the kids

"We encourage the public to come out. The more we can fill this gym up, the more money we are going to make and the more jackets we're going to be able to buy," says LRSD Athletic Director John Daniels.

The tournament runs through Saturday.

If you can't make it but would like to help an athlete, the jacket sponsorship is $75.
