Hogs QB's Vehicle Hit with Eggs

After eight consecutive losses and just one game remaining in the 2013 football season, anger is seemingly hatching from some Hogs football fans.
FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- After eight consecutive losses and just one game remaining in the 2013 football season, anger is seemingly hatching from some Hogs football fans.

Quarterback Brandon Allen's car was reportedly egged in Fayetteville over the weekend after the Razorbacks fell to Mississippi State in overtime.

The news was made public on Twitter by a tweet from Austin Tate, which showed a picture of the egged vehicle and a caption reading, "Thanks for the support fans...really makes us want to keep going and change the situation we're in! #gohogs"

Coach Bret Bielema commented on the incident in a news conference on Monday, calling it, "Unfortunately, a side to college football that's pretty ugly at times."

Bielema said he reached out to Brandon Allen after learning of the incident, who then assured the coach he didn't have any plans to retaliate.

The Hogs will look for their first conference win of the year as they wrap up the season in Baton Rouge against the 15th-ranked LSU Tigers on Friday afternoon at 1:30.
