HEBER SPRINGS, AR -- An automobile parts manufacturer is planning massive layoffs at the end of the year.

The mayor of Heber Springs says 300 jobs in the city will be lost after layoffs at Saint Jean Industries.

Officials say the company lost their largest contract with General Motors.

Mayor Jackie McPherson says while the losses are a big hit, the plant will remain open.
