LITTLE ROCK, AR - As Jessica Dean prepares to leave for her new anchoring position in Philadelphia, she sat down with KARK's new weekday evening anchor Ashley Ketz to talk with the Batesville native about her return to the Natural State.

"It's really exciting," Ketz told Dean.  "For Aaron and I to both be able to come home...to be working in a market that I grew up watching at a station I grew up watching, it's beyond my expectations."

Ketz is married to new Arkansas Today co-anchor Aaron Nolan.  Central Arkansas viewers may remember Nolan from his time with KARK a few years ago.  Nolan is a Little Rock native who made his on-air return Thursday reporting outside War Memorial Stadium.  Ashley will join him tomorrow to report about the Razorback game coming to Little Rock this weekend.

Ashley knows a thing or two about the Hogs.   She's a University of Arkansas graduate who looks forward to attending and covering Saturday's showdown with Samford.

"I spent 6 years working in Fayetteville after college," recalled Ketz.  "I'm really excited to see those people again, those familiar faces."

In the interview with Dean, Ketz talked about her love for animals...particularly felines.

"I am a crazy cat lady," Ketz joked.  "I love my cat.  I also have a dog and he's sweet too.  But I've always grown up with a cat.  That's our little family right now.  A family of four."

Ketz goes on to talk about the types of stories she enjoys covering, what she plans on doing in her spare time, and what she looks forward to most about living in Central Arkansas.  You can view the full interview by clicking play on the above video.
