Former Pine Bluff Police Officer Suing City Leaders

In the lawsuit, Powell also alleges false evidence and racial discrimination.
PINE BLUFF, AR -- A fired Pine Bluff police officer has filed a lawsuit against city leaders asking for money and his job back.

The City Review Board recommended the firing of Chris Powell in May after a female police recruit told force leaders Powell sexually harassed her.

In the lawsuit, Powell also alleges false evidence and racial discrimination.

Members of the city council, the mayor, and former police chief Brenda Davis Jones are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
