Expedited Screening Process Now at Clinton National Airport

TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening process that allows pre-approved passengers to leave on their shoes and belts, and even keep their laptops stored.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Changes are in place at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport to speed up the security-screening process for frequent flyers.

TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening process that allows pre-approved passengers to leave on their shoes and belts, and even keep their laptops stored.

Travelers who use this service have to apply through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Airport officials say the new service will free up the lines for those who don't travel as often.

"We're committed to making that total processing time quicker," says airport executive director Ron Mathieu. "This certainly helps."

Mathieu says they had to expand their security checkpoint area to provide this service, which was all part of the Vision 2020 major expansion project.
