Entergy Working to Restore Power to Thousands

Entergy crews are working to restore power to thousands of residents after a fallen tree caused a chain reaction of outages.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Entergy crews are working to restore power to thousands of residents after a fallen tree caused a chain reaction of outages.

More than 11,000 Little Rock residents were without power for a period of time Thursday night, as crews are still restoring power for about 2,000 customers.

Entergy officials say a tree fell on a line near the Rebsamen Park Golf Course, causing a chain reaction of outages.

Most of the power circuits have been restored, and crews are working to cut away the damaged tree.

Power for all residents is expected to be restored by 11:30 Thursday night, according to Entergy officials.
