Dr. Nancy Snyderman Returns to Arkansas for Special Purpose

Reunites her adopted 27-year-old daughter with birth mother.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A former local doctor who rose to fame on national network television has returned to Arkansas for a very special purpose.

Dr. Nancy Snyderman is the chief medical editor with NBC News and one of "Today's Professionals" seen on the Today Show. She is also an adoptive mother.

As National Adoption Day (Nov. 23) nears, Snyderman is showing support by telling the story of her own adoption of daughter Kate while she lived in Little Rock 27 years ago.

As part of a special report this week on Today, Snyderman shares the story of helping Kate when she set out to find her birth mother. Not only did Kate find her birth mother, but a brother and sister as well.

You can watch the special reunion (which took place this summer) on the Today Show.

Dr. Snyderman will also joined KARK 4 Today live via satellite from New York City to share her story with local viewers.
