1. Alzheimer's is nothing more than a minor disability.

2. Provided you are aware of it you can manage readily.

3. Write things down and make lists.

4. If he asks a question do not try and squeeze the answer out of him..

5. Always protect him.

5. Short term memory is impaired but judgment and decision making is as good as ever.
