Deadline to Pay Property Taxes is Tuesday

The Pulaski County Treasurer's Office will have extended hours Oct. 14-15 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., but will be closed Oct. 16-17.
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The deadline to pay your property taxes is one day away.

Pulaski County Treasurer Debra Buckner says they must be paid by tomorrow (Oct. 15), and that it's easier than ever to make sure your bill is squared away with the county.

"Beyond public schools, which gets about 75 to 80 percent of the money, depending on what city they live in, the property tax money also goes for other services like the Pulaski County Jail, the coroner's office, all of the clerks' services, there are many services provided to citizens. We want to spoil them, but it takes money to run all these operations," Buckner says.

The treasurer's office will have extended hours Oct. 14-15 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., but will be closed Oct. 16-17.
