Web Extra: Aaron Nolan Chills Out in 'Ice Bucket Challenge'

It was all part of a dare to raise awareness about ALS.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – On the steps of the state capitol, KARK’s Aaron Nolan drenched himself in ice cold water to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Aaron was challenged by Jason Snavely, Fox 16 News weekend sports anchor, to do the “Ice Bucket Challenge.” When challenged, a person has to douse him or herself with the chilling water and post it on social media or donate to the cause.

The challenge was started by Pete Frates, 29, of Massachusetts who has had ALS since 2012.

Once the challenge is complete, the person then challenges others. Aaron has challenged reporter Josh Berry, Meteorologist Pat Walker and Austin Kellerman, news director.
