LITTLE ROCK, AR - The United States Capitol Christmas Tree will visit the new Bass Pro Shops tonight.
The tree will travel nearly 4,000 miles in a 105-foot truck as part of its nationwide Whistle-stop tour after leaving Washington State's Colville National Forest.
Guests will be able to view the tree through an enclosed trailer, decorate cookies provided by Pulaski Technical College's Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute and visit Santa inside the Bass Pro Shops' Winter Wonderland while they shop. There will be live entertainment and more!
The tradition of the Capitol Christmas Tree, or 'The People's Tree,' began in 1964. For nearly five decades, the beautiful iconic U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree has been selected from a National Forest to be presented to the American people.
