Two Confirmed Dead After Storms Move Across Northern Arkansas

Man killed in Jonesboro, and occupant of van killed in Lawrence County.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Two people have died after storms move across Northern Arkansas.

The first death was reported in Jonesboro. 74-year-old Tommy Sanford, a retired Caraway city marshal, was killed when a tree fell on his house on Burke Street.

The second death happened in Black Rock (Lawrence County). The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) says the victim was inside a van when a tree fell on it. This victim's name has not been released yet.
