Texarkana Police Investigate Shooting That Left 1 Dead, 2 Hurt

Tuesday afternoon incident happened at home on Locust Street.
TEXARKANA, AR - The Texarkana Police Department (TPD) is investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.

It happened at a home on Locust Street.

That's where police found the body of DeMarquis Reeves, 25. Police say he had been shot more than once.

While investigating the killing, police say a second 911 call reporting a shooting victim sent officers to a home on Ashley St. on the Texas side of the city.

That's where they found Devin White, 21, with gunshot wounds and had him taken to the hospital. His current condition isn't known.

Police soon determined that White had been injured at the scene on Locust St. and that a third man had also been shot there. He is identified as Anthony King, 21. Police say he showed up at a local hospital a few hours after the incident. There are no further details on his condition.

The TPD says ie believes this is an isolated incident where all people involved have been in an ongoing dispute.

Arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
