UPDATE: Body Found In Lake Norfork Identified

Authorities identify body as 67-year-old Jerry Dale Miller of Hardy, Arkansas.
BAXTER COUNTY, AR-  The Sheriff's Office in in Baxter County have now identified the body of a man found in Lake Norfork Saturday.

Authorities say the man is 67-year-old Jerry Dale Miller of Hardy, Arkansas. According to family members, Miller had been visiting family in the Hand Cove area of Baxter County, and had gone fishing alone that morning.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., two people on jet skis reported finding a body on the lake. The boat was recovered in approximately 18 feet of water by the Arkansas Game and Fish Dive and Recovery Team, and released to the victim's family.

The incident is still under investigation by the Arkansas State Game and Fish and the Baxter County Sheriff's Office. The body has been sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
