Shooting Injures 3 Outside Little Rock Gas Station

Victims expected to recover but one suffered spinal injury.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Three men have been shot outside a gas station on the city's southwest side.

It happened around 11 Tuesday night along Colonel Glenn Road. Two of the victims were found in the parking lot of a liquor store across the street and the third was found inside a car wash bay, according to a police report.

Police say the victims were expected to survive but one of them had an injury to the spine. Their ages are listed as 22, 35, and 43.

There are two suspects in the case. Police describe them both as black men in their 20s. One of them is 6'0" tall, 180 pounds and the other is 5'7" tall, 160 pounds.

Two of the victims suffered gunshot wounds police say looked like bird shot from a shotgun. The third victim, who police say collapsed soon after officers arrived at the liquor store parking lot, suffered a gunshot wound to his lower back from what appeared to be a .45 caliber handgun. Investigators found a shell casing near the 6900 block of Colonel Glenn. All three victims reported they were outside the gas station when the suspects stepped out of the store and started shooting.

Police are working to obtain surveillance video from the gas station.

A witness at the scene who refused to give their name told police one of the victims was a "Blood" and one of the suspects was a "Crip," referring to alleged gang affiliations.
