Rain Tapering off in Arkansas, More Coming

A flash flood watch is in effect through Wednesday night for much of the state.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The National Weather Service (NWS) says the rain across the state this morning will weaken by mid day with a lull in the precipitation expected for much of Tuesday afternoon.

The NWS says the next round of heavy rain will impact the state on Wednesday when another 2 inches of rain will fall on already saturated ground.

As a result, the flash flood watch has been expanded to cover much of the state and continues through Wednesday evening.
