Update (4:10 p.m.):
PINE BLUFF, AR - We have learned from Pine Bluff Police that the collapsed building was vacant and nobody was hurt or inside when it happened.

A demolition crew tells reporter Aaron Nolan that the building will not come down today. (Friday)

Neighboring business to the building say there were large amounts of smoke at the time of the collapse.

Main Street in Pine Bluff will be closed until further notice because of the collapse.

PINE BLUFF, AR - A building in the city's downtown area has partially collapsed.


It happened early Friday afternoon at 620 South Main.
