More than 36,000 Without Power in Arkansas

Entergy reports more than 21,000 and Electric Cooperatives has about 15,000.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Power crews are fanning out across south Arkansas to restore electricity to storm-damaged areas.

As of 11:30 this morning, Entergy reported more than 21,000 outages, the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas (ECOA) reported about 15,000 and Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) reported around 1,600 outages.

The ECOA says most of its outages are transmission related and centered at Ouachita Electric Cooperative of Camden.

Entergy's outages are highest in Ouachita County (7,700+), Columbia County (2,900+) and Jefferson County (1,900+).
