Model & Track Star to Run in Race for the Cure

Under Armour Model and US Track Star, Monica Hargrove will visit Little Rock to participate in Little Rock’s Race for the Cure.
LITTLE ROCK, AR  --  Under Armour Model and US Track Star, Monica Hargrove will visit Little Rock, AR to participate in Little Rock’s Race for the Cure.  Monica will complete the race with breast cancer survivor Brenda Stacker.

Monica Hargrove, American Track and Field Athlete, is a graduate of Georgetown University where she was selected as an All American in 2002, 2003, as well as 2004.  Monica’s list of accomplishments includes winning a silver medal at the IAAF World Indoor Championship.  She also set records at the Penn Relays in both 2006 and 2009.

Currently, Monica works as a commercial fitness model for Under Armour.  She is now expanding her brand into the world of beauty and fashion.  With the launch of her Strength IS Beauty Project, Monica intends to represent the woman who is not only strong physically, but mentally as well.  Through Strength IS Beauty, Monica is determined to show the world that women can be strong and beautiful at the same time.

During her Little Rock visit, Monica is scheduled to visit local schools to speak on her Strength IS Beauty Project and bullying.  After speaking, Monica will encourage students to sign a pledge stating they will refrain from bullying their classmates.  Participating schools include Jefferson Elementary, Parkview High School, and McClellan High School.
