Maxine Ridling joined the station as a general assignment reporter in December 2013.
Maxine began her broadcasting career at KFDA in Amarillo, Texas in 2010 as an associate producer, but quickly made her way on camera as a general assignment reporter.
Her next stop was Abilene, Texas, where she was a morning anchor at KRBC-TV before transitioning into the evening anchor for its sister station, KTAB-TV.
Maxine grew up in McKinney, Texas. She went to college at West Texas A&M University, where she earned a degree in broadcasting with a minor in marketing.
After leaving KTAB, she moved to Little Rock because her husband, a C-130J pilot, was transferred to LRAFB.
Maxine says once they got here, they immediately felt at home and enjoy taking their dog, Emily, to Pinnacle Mountain and other parks around the city. They're excited to see what else Arkansas has to offer.
Also since moving to Little Rock, Maxine has volunteered with the Pulaski County Humane Society (she's an animal lover at heart) and the American Cancer Society.
