Is Your Child Riding Safely in the Car?

The BNPD is hosting a free car seat check-up event to ensure child safety while riding.
BENTON, AR (News release) - The Benton Police Department, (BNPD) in conjunction with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Injury Prevention Center and UAMS, will be hosting a free child car seat check-up event.

The event will be held at Walgreens in Benton (702 Military Rd.), on Saturday, March 8th from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.

There will be certified car seat technicians on hand to assist you in ensuring that your child is riding correctly in your car. If you have ever wondered if your car seat was installed correctly or if your child was using the correct seat for their age and weight, then please make plans to attend this free event where you will be given informative literature along with advice on correct installation.
