Independence County Sheriff's Office Looking for Escaped Inmates

Police are looking for Kyle McTigue, 21, of Cushman and Michael Bryant, 28, of Batesville who were working at the Independence County Recycling Center when they walked away Friday afternoon.
BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) – The Independence County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in finding two inmates who walked away from a work detail.

Kyle McTigue, 21, of Cushman and Michael Bryant, 28, of Batesville were working at the Independence County Recycling Center when they walked away Friday afternoon around 12:30.

Both were last seen on Quarry B Road off U.S. Highway 167.

The two inmates were wearing orange jumpsuits and possibly white t-shirts.

Both men were being held on misdemeanor charges and were working off fines at the recycling center at the time of their escape.

McTigue is described as being 5’8, 125 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his chest and right shoulder area.

Bryant is 5’9 and weighs 213 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair. He has tattoos on his right shoulder and a skull on his upper left arm.
